The Brain Eaters performance online.

"Operating out of a domestic setting C is a curatorial collective inviting artists into their home to experiment and present their work in any shape or form. Katie Goodwin was invited by C to host an event in December 2013. Goodwin exhibited her 3D film ‘Small Wonders’ and received excellent feedback, the audience were fully engaged with all elements of the film from the 3D effects and animation to the 16mm footage and audio provided by microbiologist and UCL Honorary Senior Lecturer Terence M Preston.

Small Wonders was exhibited on a loop for two hours providing an opportunity for everyone to view it at least once. After a short interlude Katie collaborated with Newcastle based artist Rachel Lancaster to perform a live foley performance to new film ‘Brain Eaters’. Combining found footage with Katie’s own, ‘Brain Eaters’ provided an eclectic mix of b-grade horror films and home video. The advantage of presenting ‘Brain Eaters’ at C meant it could be used as a testing ground to try a new performative element to Katie's practice. Again, the film and foley were well received and provided an entertaining end to the event. "
